We're ready to start adding some of our own content to the site. First we'll add the content, and then we'll add the menu items to point to it. We need to add the content before we can create the menu items.
Here we are back in the Joomla Administrator page.

We want to add content for these three menu items:
- XML / XSL Consulting
- Website Design
- Software Development
We also want to add content for the Home page, but as we'll see, this content will be taken from the above items.

Looking at the Content pulldown, we see that for Content sections we have
- News
- Newsflashes
- FAQs
None of these sections, which were added as examples by the Joomla installer, seems to fit the content we want to add.

So, we'll choose the Section Manager and add a new section.
All Joomla regular content is placed in Sections. Sections then contain Categories.

Here's the Section Manager. We're going to click on the New button to create a new section.

To hold our new content, we'll create a Section named "Services".
- Enter a title (to be used in menus) and a name (to be used in page headings)
- Click Save.

Every regular content item needs to be placed in a Category within a Section. We need to create at least one Category for our new section.
Select Content - Category Manager.

- Enter the title and name for this Category. (We'll call it "Service").
- Click Save.

Now that we have added a new Section and Category, we can begin adding content items. In the next tutorial, we'll add our first content item.
