| Joomla : Site Content Adding a Menu Entry for a Single Article |
Page 1We'll now add a menu item to point to the article (regular content item) that we just created. In the Joomla Administrator, choose Menu - Menu Manager. Page 2
Page 3Here's the Menu Manager for mainmenu. Click on the New button. Page 4Here's the New Menu Item page. We're going to select Link - Content Item and then click on Next. Page 5
Page 6The Menu Manager (for mainmenu) reappears. Our new menu item is listed at the bottom. Page 7Returning to our site, we see that our new menu item is displayed. Page 8Clicking on the menu item causes the article to be displayed. Page 9Let's configure a few items on our new article page. Here we are back in the Content Items Manager. Page 10We've selected our new article and clicked on the Parameters tab. Page 11Scrolling down, we'll going to change a few settings.
Page 12After saving our changes and returning to our site, we can see that the Intro Text now shows, and the author and modified date are hidden. Page 13In the same way as demonstrated in the this tutorial and the one prior to this, we can now add menu items and content for the next two menu items for this site:
